NFL Draft News for BYU and Todd Watkins
We may have been disappointed with some dropped catches in the Notre Dame game last year, but just about every rational BYU fan knows that Todd Watkins senior speedy wide receiver last year for the BYU Cougars was always a deep threat and a potent part of the Cougars offense.
The question is, where will he go in the draft? Fox Sports has him listed as one of the top WR's saying:
Out of Brigham Young University, wide receiver Todd Watkins should be a solid choice in this year's NFL draft. They even post this highlight video.

Patriots also have some interesting things to say about Todd Watkins, rating him as the #7 receiver in the draft. According to patriots.com:
Watkins definitely has the ability to play at the next level, and it's looking pretty good for him the draft.
Todd Watkins, BYU – One of the more underrated receiver prospects. Tall receiver who is a big-time deep threat. Scored 15 touchdowns in two seasons at BYU, despite the team’s inconsistent play at the quarterback position. Very good hands. Has a knack of making tough catches look easy. Made a lot of acrobatic plays in college. Readjusts well to the ball. Needs work on his route running and with his slim build he doesn’t break a lot of tackles. Has excellent speed and acceleration. At the very least will be a dangerous deep threat in the NFL.
