Lance Reynolds Jr. Inks Free Agent Deal

BYUCougars.com reports that Lance Reynolds Jr., former BYU center, has signed a free agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks.

The report goes on to state:

Recruited to BYU as a linebacker from Timpview High School in Provo, Reynolds moved to center during his sophomore season in 2003. The 6-foot-3, 293-pound center started the past two seasons for the Cougars. As a senior, Reynolds earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference honors, and was named the Cougars' top offensive lineman. He anchored an offensive line that provided pass protection for the nation's seventh-ranked offense, averaging 306.3 yards per game. Through the first 10 games of the season, Reynolds ranked second on the squad with 69.5 knock-downs. He recorded a season-high 16 knock-downs against Air Force in the Cougars' 62-41 victory over the Falcons.

BYU has a history with Seahawk's headcoach, Mike Holmgren, who coached the quarterbacks at Brigham Young University from 1982-85 under LaVell Edwards.
