Rafael Coming Home
News agencies are reporting that Rafael Araujo is coming home from the frozen north to a real basketball city. This can only spell positive for Rafael, as it did for Vince Carter leaving the train wreck that is Toronto.
The trade involves Jazz forward Kris Humphries and center Robert Whaley.
According to the Deseret News, "In his last season with the Cougars, the Brazilian center was the Mountain West Conference's co-player of the year. He led BYU in scoring and rebounding with an average of 18.4 points and 10.1 rebounds. He shot 57 percent from the field and made 72 percent of his free throws."
