Tyler Beck piled on to the record setting recruiting year BYU is putting together by becoming the 21st recruit to give a verbal committment to head coach Bronco Mendenhall.
Beck is a LB heading into his senior year at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California. He was offered a scholarship to Nebraska nearly a month ago but when BYU recently offered made the choice to play at BYU.
His biography, According to Scout.com:
Had 70 tackles and 11 sacks from his linebacker spot while rushing for 432 yards and 10 touchdowns from his quarterback/fullback spot during the 2005 season. Recorded 16 tackles and three sacks against Paloma Valley.
BYU will benefit from having such a speedy and athletic player on the roster, one who should do great things at BYU.
