Las Vegas Bowl
With the BYU Cougars victory over the New Mexico Lobos the Cougars became MWC Champions. And with that victory the Las Vegas bowl was chomping at the bit to invite the Cougars to the bowl game.
After Craig Thompson (who was soundly and rightfully booed) presented the Cougars with the MWC Trophy the representatives from the Las Vegas Bowl invited the champs to the Las Vegas Bowl.
