Update on John Beck
John Beck is sitting pretty. The Miami Dolphins have brought in veteran QB Trent Green. This is a great move for Beck, it removes unrealistic expectations of John Beck to step in and start right away, gives Beck a mature, accomplished QB to learn from. Something that could not have happened with Daunte Culpepper.
'I don't even ask for it, and [Green] will start giving me tips,'' Beck said. ``It's great. There are some things he'll tell me. He'll say, `If you see those guys collide, you know you'll have a right flank to throw it out there.'Look for Beck to continue to learn and grow under Green for at least a year before stepping up into the starting roll.``Some of those veteran tips are really helpful.''
