Congrats to Shaq Walker! #3 in the NCAA in the 800 meters this year.

Shea Collinsworth has a shot at winning the womens 800M tomorrow. She posted the fastest time in the semifinals last night.

Shaq Walker won the 800 meters and a gold medal at World University games! It's on you tube. His time was 1:49.05. He's had better times but there was a wind and it looked quite brisk. He rounded the last curve at 3rd. He moved outside and passed the 2 in front of him. He was a yard/meter ahead at the tape. I wonder where the 4 guys that beat him in the NCAAs were.

He also ran in the 4x400 but they were disqualified.

Congratulations from an old cinder track 1/2 miler.
