Re: Big Day Today

Access to what? That's my question. An NY6 game? We've played 6 of those already this year. Money? Still making more than the G5 teams, including the G5 team that plays in the NY6. Name recognition? BYU's brand is stronger than any G5. Only other one close is Boise. BYU's brand is stronger than more...

Re: offense is too slow...

I'm a little late to the party, but Detmer didn't throw the ball. Just because the route goes deep it doesn't mean that you *have* to throw the ball. They were already in field goal range, and as others have mentioned, you trust your SENIOR quarterback to make good decisions. He didn't. Multiple ti...

Re: Jason Buck has opinions

He's wrong about the MWC.

He's wrong about BYU.

He's actually also wrong about expanding the stadium. They should actually put in bigger more comfortable seating and reduce capacity.

Re: What's the deal with Mack Brown?

He's their Saturday halftime guy on ABC broadcasts. If ESPN is going to assign him a western game, they need to do a chartered flight for him to get to Bristol on time.

Re: utah's last drive

The bigger play was letting them get a TD right before half time. Hold them to a FG, up 3 at half, not down 1.

Re: 55% in Glendale, 15% in Pasadena, 5% in SLC.

To answer the original question: 55% in Glendale - 60k+ seat stadium, U of A doesn't travel well even in state, large Mormon population right up the road, memorial day weekend, 10 hour drive for most of the fan base max. 15% in Pasadena - 90k+ seat stadium (used to be over 100k), large Mormon popula...

Re: Right decision - Wrong Call?

I like the call to go for two. With how bad our run defense had gotten, I didn't like our chances in OT. I didn't like the play call. I get that you want the ball in Taysom's hands, but if you're going to run him, why not run him behind the right side of the line, which is where we've had most of o...

Re: Statistics to Start Tanner

Last year the Utes turned over some guy from Cal 5 times...he only went on to be the 1st player drafted in the NFL. Utah does this to a lot of really good players. The thing is, BYU did enough, and that QB did enough, to win the game. Just fell a little short. And go back and watch the final drive. ...

Re: Right decision - Wrong Call?

I was definitely fine going for 2, until BYU called their TO.

The most disappointing thing to me right now is how long it's taking to get plays called.
