Re: Holmoe: Latest on the Notre Dame home game in Provo
I'll be pretty mad if Notre Dame doesn't come to Provo. That's what they agreed to and the fans deserve to see that game in LES. Not some neutral site.

Re: Why did Aaron Rodderick call that pass on 3rd and 2?
I don't understand how a coach that actually makes money to make such calls could make such a stupid call. It's beyond comprehension. To me, it's obvious now that the biggest problems with the football program lie in the coaching. It's not talent. These guys turned an 11-2 season into 7-6 with incom...

Food for Thought: Utes and the Pac12 South
An interesting fact: The last time both USC and UCLA finished the season with losing records was 1958. So, the luck of the Utards continues: they need historically bad seasons from both LA schools in order to win the Pac12 south. I sure hope BYU beats them, but it likely won't happen.

Re: PK: "BYU basketball finally might have bright future"
Well, this year's team was certainly better than last year's team. And, we have no seniors so there should be some continuity to next year. I'm losing my confidence in Coach Rose, though. Those head-scratcher losses have to stop. I don't feel too bad about this year because of the clear improvement...

Re: Sitake calling out position groups.
I am astounded at how bad this team is - as a total TEAM. On Saturday the offense generated a whopping 176 yards of total offense and 8 first downs. FOR THE WHOLE GAME! The equally bad defense gave up 546 yards of total offense and 35 first downs. I am shocked the score wasn't worse than it was. If ...

Re: Why is everyone saying BYU is rebuilding
Pretty sure it was Neil Pau'u, a true freshman. It would have been a tough catch, so I have a hard time calling it a drop. Could have been caught, though, for sure.

Re: Why is everyone saying BYU is rebuilding
I think we're really seeing the effects of not having MLP. He was one of our returning experienced receivers with proven talent. The other was Trinnaman, but he hasn't done much at all. The others are all Freshmen and Sophomores with little to no experience. The same is true with running back. Squal...

Re: 2016 BYU Coaching Staff
I thought that Logan Taele and Tomasi Laulile were returning. Both were significant contributors on the D line.snoscythe wrote:My most immediate concern is how this affects 2016--it's no secret that outside of Tuiloma and Kaufusi the DL cupboard is pretty bare depth-wise.

Re: And now the piling on really starts...
I really liked Bronco and what he did for BYU. I thought he was a genius in turning the honor code and missionary program into recruiting pitches and strengths for the program. I really liked the toughness and physicality I saw from BYU under him, especially on defense. That had been lacking under C...
