Re: What changes does BYU need to make?
Seriously...a new coaching staff? I strongly disagree. The team is beaten up from playing a very difficult up front schedule (LSU, Utah, Wisconsin, BSU, MSU...even USU is playing well). We likely will lose to Fresno State as they are 4-0 in conference and beat a decent SDSU team. ECU had a similar s...

Re: CB Isaiah Herron commits
The problem has been inconsistency with Tanner. He is not able to consistently sustain drives or produce touchdowns. Seems to be able to make pass that is very difficult, but under or overthrows easy passes which can produce first downs. Still quick to jump the gun when pressure comes from the outsi...

Re: NFL Draft 2017
Having the good individual talent on a team doesn't always translate into success on the field as evidenced by Utah. They have been sending a number of talented players to the NFL with marginal success in the Pac10. What does it mean? Perhaps coaching, perhaps underachieving results, mental weakness...

Re: NFL Draft 2017
I don't believe that Langi was mismanaged this year. Kalani needed the best players on the field, and Langi had to switch positions to allow for Butch to play ILB. Had there been more strength on the DL, absence of Sione Takitaki and Keanu Saleapaga was significant, Langi might have remained at LB a...

Re: NFL Draft 2017
Langi to NE is great. Will be reunited with KVN. NE will utilize the strengths of Langi, and likely he will see initial time on ST.

Taysom Hill to Packers as UDFA
Very interesting that Jamaal Williams and Taysom Hill are reunited with the Green Bay Packers. They will be a good tandem together and definitely show good chemistry while teammates.

Re: line in the sand...
Let's not get too carried away by weight and an ability to get off shot or not be pushed around. Examples include, Kevin Durrant of Texas ( 6'9" and 215 lbs). However, he had a great wingspan (7'4" wingspan), which helped him get his shot off cleanly over most defenders; Brandon Ingram of ...

Re: Boise Live
No defensive pressure, too much time to throw and complete passes. Deflating for defense that their O cannot convert on turnovers. OL lack of depth with starters injured is resulting in no protection for Hill.

Re: Boise Live
BSU is dominating play on offense again. Only thing stopping them will be another turnover.

Re: 2017 Bracketology - No BYU
SMU 1st in WCC, 2nd in WCC Tourney (NIT quarterfinals) returns all five starters and the subs so it is understandable that they would be considered a strong candidate. Zags 2nd in WCC, 1st in WCC Tourney (NCAA Sweet Sixteen) lose Sabonis and Wilcher but return with Edwards, Perkins, McClellan and re...
