Re: On Your Honor
So for everyone that loves the Honor Code enforcement would you be down with your local ward and bishop doing the same to you and your family? For what its worth my experience with my local ward is exactly the same as it was at my time at BYU. I agree. If my neighbor was in my ward, and I'm throwin...

Re: On Your Honor
I'm not entirely against the HC and it's enforcement. I do think it is long overdue for an update. Students came up with it in the 70s, nearly 40 years ago. Personally, I think the moral aspects of the HC should be no different than what's in the temple recommend questions. If you are worthy to att...

Re: Alabama wins electoral college national championship
Rules = Trump wins. Rules = Clemson wins. So, declaring a champion because of rules is satirized by pretending you ignored the rules to get a dumb result? Useful idiots. Are you calling me an idiot for posting the above link? I wasn't criticizing you either. There are funny comparisons to make betw...

Re: Alabama wins electoral college national championship
The Huffington Post wouldn't like it, but the more appropriate comparison would be like the Spurs trying to claim the 2013 NBA Finals over the Heat because the Spurs scored more total points in the series. Sure they lost 4 of the 7 games, but they had more points overall. But that isn't how we decid...

Re: Patrick Kinahan a voice of reason?
I don't read PK or Gordon Monson, even if they have a rare moment of clarity, I refuse to give them clicks. I accidentally clicked on this article and read the first three paragraphs. Then a bad odor started filling the room and I thought "who wrote this?" I scrolled up to find what I alr...

Re: College Football’s Financial Woes
I've posted this before, but I would not be opposed to the top programs splitting and forming their own league. Let Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Texas and so on form a sort of semi-pro league of the ultimate "haves". I am getting sick of the arms race. It is sickening. I've got ...

Re: Jay Drew?
It's the constant unnecessary digs at the program. Of those three tweets, only one was necessary. I'm curious which tweet was necessary. Jay Drew has +25,000 tweets and I'd be surprised if any of them were necessary. The guy is constantly attempting to produce content. Hence 3 tweets about attendan...

Re: King of the world, Dallin Leavitt
I didn't get this. Sure he left BYU, but was there bad blood or something? Did coaches say "You suck and you'll never amount to anything" or something to that effect? I hold no ill will for him so his little outburst made no sense to me. Two reasons: (1) Got pissed when then DC Nick Howel...

Bad first year for Bronco at Virginia
One year down Bronco and his crew at Virginia and it did not look good. The Cavs finished dead last in the ACC and just 2-10 on the year. I liked Bronco and what he did for our program, but it probably was time to move on. I'm happy he left on his own because I don't think he deserved to get fired f...
