Re: Tuiaki needs to be replaced.
I'm not sure if Tuiaki needs to go or not. The Utah game showed he can put together a beautiful game plan, but I do question whether he can adapt once it's clear the opponent has identified a weakness. I remember games where Bronco was forced to play with 2 d-lineman, and went full Sun Tsu with ali...

Re: Tuiaki needs to be replaced.
I think most BYU fans, at least those who follow things closely enough and have seen enough games, would agree Tuiaki needs to go. He may occasionally have a good game here or there but, overall, he just doesn't cut it. And he definitely won't once we go to the Big 12. The question is, how long does...

Re: Cougars @ Bears
I'll just say this kind of loss - 38-24 on the road to a good Big 12 team - I can roll with. It was expected. And I like the hospitality and prayer you would never see in the PAC 12. That said, we gotta get things turned around or what looked like a great season could end up something like a much le...

Re: 5-1 Midseason Musings
I'm not interested in putting lipstick on a pig. I hate losing even more than I love winning and there's nothing worse than when you lose by beating yourself with turnovers. Nothing. There's no excuse for how crappy we played. Think about it - Boise only got into the end zone when we gave them the b...

Re: Hall or Romney?
I'll take Hall or Romney. Pleeeeeease, either one. If Conover is our starter, this undefeated streak comes to an end right quick. I like the grit this team has. They find a way to win. But we need people to heal up, and we need to play better on defense (yes, they stepped up enough in the second hal...

Re: Gordon Monson out from The Zone Sports Network with change
Best news all week.
I can't stand his douche bag analysis on sports.
But him sticking his nose into the Elder Holland BYU speech was the final straw....and may be part of the reason why he was shown the door.
Good riddance.
Edit...Oh, and his equally douche bag son in law can go pound sand.

Re: Adjusting the 2023 football schedule
So it will be 9 Big 12 games and 3 out of conference? If that's the case, it would be ideal to have Utah and Utah State for two of those on a permanent basis or at least most years. The third could be whoever.

Re: What a week, what a day
When was the last time we controlled the line of scrimmage against Utah? An O-line that protects the QB and helps establish the run = invaluable. The D has stepped up enough that the O doesn't necessarily need to score huge numbers for us to win. Lastly, NO TURNOVERS!!!! (Lee Corso picking Utah cert...
