Re: Low Blow
I don't post on here much either. But I don't think he was aiming for his nuts and I think he was clearly bothered by an extremely late hit that was tacky and done solely to rough him up. He was just frustrated to an unsportsmanlike late hit and reacted in an inappropriate way but reasonable conside...

Re: BYU-Miss St series 2016 (Provo) and 2017 (Starkville)
I have to agree with Schmoe here (shock!). Let's stop worrying about a national championship and focus more on an exciting and fun season playing great teams with tradition and rankings! Every week can be our "national championship" game when playing top-25 teams 4-6 times per year. And if...

Re: BYU Fans Got Everything They Wanted This Weekend Except
I watched this game from 10,000 feet on the Boulder Mountain during an awesome trophy Brook Trout fishing trip. We went through the hassle of packing up a Satellite TV and it was awesome being able to watch the game from a place that has likely never seen a TV before. That being said, I have never s...

Re: Hill a great athlete, not a great throwing QB
The O-line isn't great but it is hard to hold a pocket for 5 seconds. As a whole, I think they are doing at least okay. It just seems like either the receivers aren't getting open, or Hill doesn't trust his receivers, or Hill really has a problem throwing to the spot where the receiver will be open ...

Re: red vs blue cougars
I have no idea why Taysom is holding onto the ball as long as he is. It's like he needs to see the receivers make their breaks instead of trusting them to do so. Just put this in my post. I have noticed this his whole career at BYU. He either doesn't trust the receivers, can't read the defense or a...

Hill a great athlete, not a great throwing QB
Hill is a once in a decade athlete, if not more, and I really enjoy watching him play against Texas and other Teams that can't tackle. He has a great burst and can shed tackles unlike any BYU QB ever. That being said, he is a below average throwing QB. Not quite to the Heaps/Nelson level, but defini...

Re: Ty Detmer vs Taysom Hill
The biggest difference I see is the 9 TD difference, which is almost a 25% difference. In my opinion, if Taysom didn't improve at anything but getting 9-12 more TD's (red zone efficiency), that would be enough. Taysom often performed really well until the red zone, where he (or the play calling) ju...

Re: 2014 Will Not Be A Special Season
Lavell is a legend and was before my time for the most part but I by no means think he was absolutely incredible, especially towards the end. Is it too much to ask for slightly better performance from Bronco than what Lavell provided, especially in this new era of BCS and playoffs? In addition, I th...

Re: Are BYU players soft?
Amen to this post! How can bronco talk national championship while having a track record of soft players and teams, especially when we don't use all our alloyed practices, we often cut practices short, and bronco likes to send his teams to go swim instead of practice several times per year?! Althoug...
