Re: So, how does Taysom finish his BYU career?

How often does C Stew lay in bed at night and think about what could have been?

Re: 1-2 Team Changes Starting QB

USCs senior has never before been the starter and my understanding is he has had very limited reps.

Taysom has been the starter for four? seasons now and has a history of success.

I'd be quicker on the trigger on the guy that took that long to figure it out.

Re: Offensive problems not Taysom's fault

... but we only have 9 games left and we're trying to court the Big 12. Now is not the time to keeping plunking quarters into a broken machine. FWIW I believe that we could win zero more games this year and it would not impact the Big 12's decision on whether to invite us or not Totally agree. Ther...

Re: Offensive problems not Taysom's fault

When I see these videos I always wonder how the poster knows what the play was "supposed" to be and which player messed up. How does Nate know how the play should have gone or which player was wrong? Same thing happened on the pick6 at Utah. I think it was Dave McKan (sp?) said taysom was ...

Re: Questions and observations

On another subject, I want to know if the targeting calls are being appealed. Without going into details again, I think it is wrong for those two DB's to have to miss the next half game. I think once the pac12 review booth reviewed it it was a done deal. We lose them for half of our next pac12 game...

Re: Questions and observations

9. BYU absolutely needs to sell all of Utah's tickets for the game next year. Give those jerks a taste of there own medicine. Television coverage showed a ton of Ute fans there, but I guess I missed the ticketgate controversy? Someone please fill me in here. Did the U sell BYU's allotment of ticket...

Re: Questions and observations

I do think Taysom does better at a more uptempo pace. He's a fast paced, rythem kind of guy. I'd sprinkle in some more 2 min drill type scenarios if I'm Detmer. I don't believe in go fast go hard all the time, but when used strategically uptempo can be very effective. Our receivers are soft. Holida...

Re: Right decision - Wrong Call?

I'm ok going for two on the play to win the game then and there. The problems I had with the play: - You kept Taysom in the middle of the field. - Taysom supposedly had a "run/pass" option. But this implies that 1) Taysom looked to pass and 2) that WRs actually ran routes anticipating a p...

Re: ESPN article on "holy war".

Perhaps someone can enlighten me about Bronco's role in the rivalry. Many Utes continue to say that Bronco made the rivalry toxic, and that things may improve now that he is gone. Excuse me? I don't see it. What am I missing here? Or, are these Uties just sadly delusional? As far as I could observe...
