Spencer Linton just teased a "Big Announcement" to be made during Halftime vs USF.

Any rumors floating around what this might be?

Sounded to me like he was most likely being hired as QB coach but that the job titles of the entire staff were up in the air. MSU isn't bama but I'd be shocked if a twice-demoted QB coach from a P12 cellar dweller got hired as OC of any SEC team.

I'll miss college football. Better enjoy it while you can, because if this keeps going we wont be watching a BYU team in the near future. We'll still have BYU football. Sounds like the Texas boosters are running riot over the athletic dept. Way too many cooks in the kitchen.

He's already getting sniper fire from the boosters for this. Texas needs a culture change in how the boosters and the AD interact, I just hope Strong can be the guy that gets it done. Agreed on all points except I don't want him to turn it around until after they play us ... we can be their gut-che...
