That whole thing seemed to go down weird...but it's not like he was in good standing with the program most of even last year.

What I do believe above everything else, the longer this takes, the more BYU gets hurt. And now with the Olympics dominating everything, don't expect much for another 2 weeks.

Oddly, I've seen 2 WVU people say that WVU is actually against UC...recruiting reasons.

Every school could probably be investigated for the exact same thing.

The difference with the BYU case, as I understand it, was that the police officer is the one who told the honor code office about the issue because it involved an athlete he wanted to make sure was punished.

When I was in high school in Utah there wasn't even a 5a, 4a was top tier so there hasn't been much time to make much difference. Weird, I didn't think you were that much older than me. I graduated in 97 and 5A had been around for quite awhile at that point. Honestly, I thought I was older than you...

Umm...living in Utah, the difference between 5A/4A Football and Basketball isn't really that big, especially at the top of the classifications. For example, Timpview during their height, would routinely play and beat the 5A champs in football. Orem (4A) beats Lone Peak (5A) as much as any other team...

how many of those are leaving on missions though?

Outside of coaching...I'm not sure there are too many major problems on this team. And the coaching is just unknown.
