Gurney stated that his style of play is similar to that of Spencer Hadley. Plays both RB/OLB - very athletic. Will go on mission after HS - will play in 2015. Poppinga recruiting him since Soph. Season....

He has a lot of different throws: can throw a rope when needed or toss a nice touch pass / put it up for grabs in traffic. I also like the way he deftly avoids the rush and still completes the pass under pressure. Doesn't seem to get too riled up...

Good get - Class of 2013 recruiting class has outstanding commits so far.

Great talent and athleticism. His dunk from a standing squat shows that his vertical leap is legit. Coach says he might top out at 6'4 by senior season - lots of growth projected. Would probably be LB at that point (if it happens).
