Hoping the best for Ash & his health.

Typically Bronco teams have defended the option fairly well.

It's not ideal. That's for sure.

I guess Texas shoulda picked up Jake Heaps when he was available ;)
Best of luck to Ash for a speedy and uneventful recovery

Is it too late for Jake to transfer again? He could leverage his familiarity with playing against the BYU defense in practice. Watching the freshman that beat him out lose to Louisville Monday night 31-13 or so, had to be painful.

Anae just might be the guy. Wisconsin DC says Anae is totally unpredictable because he just runs a bunch of plays with no rhyme or reason. Whooped Butt on Houston DC for 3 of 4 quarters. Destroyed Texas DC and HC careers.

We've defended the triple option well, the read option has given us some problems (like at Texas a couple years back).

I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,

Of course, that was before we were running the read option and defending it in practice every day...

I'm looking forward to many, many blitzes this coming Saturday. We knocked out Ash last year and I expect our D to do the same to Swoopes. I want this kid peeing his pants by the 2nd quarter. We make them one dimensional and they very well may not score on us.

I am confident we will take Swoopes down several times but the dude is bigger than Taysom Hill and a good athlete.

I think we will frustrate him but scaring him seems unlikely.
