BYU moving up in the polls

Just win, baby! An undefeated BYU being excluded from the playoff while some one-loss and two-loss teams go will be enough to push the discussion where it needs to go: an expanded playoff of eight or sixteen teams. But we've got to win this season one game at a time if that's going to happen, and we've still got a long road to travel.

BYU moves to 21 in the coaches poll. Still looking for the AP. Mississippi State jumps to 16 after beating LSU, LSU drops to 18.

The bye week was good to BYU. Not only did the pull a Utah State and pull defeat from the jaws of victory, but there were enough upsets of ranked teams that BYU has moved up to 19 in the coaches poll. AP hasn't been released yet. ESPN has BYU 16 in the ESPN Power Rankings.

That is suhweeeet. The Yewts were up 21-0 over WSU in the 1st Qtr. Then up over WSU 24-7 at the end of the 1st Half - and lose the game by 1 pt.

So sad. Too bad. The Yewts did not receive 1 vote for the AP Top 25.
That move to the PAC-whatever sure has worked out well.
