I think you meant irregular basis. Actually, we do pretty well as long as we do not play too many teams with top 30 recruiting classes. There probably is little difference between a 50 and a 70. Might be splitting hairs. There is a huge difference, however between a 20 and a 60.

ironically, 2010 was probably our highest ranked class ever, and it failed to deliver the hype. Remember that KVN was actually 2009. The press conference trio. Heaps zip. Apo even less. Stout.zip until this year. 1 year. That is it. The Fab. Zip. Twice. The 8 man team guy. Zip. Phillips. One of the data guys should post an evaluation of that class. Other than a few returned missionaries, they should all be gone by 2015. And that class was not top 30.

Anae just might be the guy. Wisconsin DC says Anae is totally unpredictable because he just runs a bunch of plays with no rhyme or reason. Whooped Butt on Houston DC for 3 of 4 quarters. Destroyed Texas DC and HC careers.

Any ideas who this might be?
A high profile RB would be sweet......who out there would "turn some heads"?

Elias Miller is a RB from Las Vegas who just committed to BYU according to his tweet. He was influenced by JSwag and by the Texas beatdown. So it is not an official visit scheduled with him since he already committed.

Viliamu Auwae just tweeted that he guarantees that he will make an official visit to BYU. Maybe it is him.

Porter Gustin ought to take a serious look. He has big time options elsewhere, but he could make a bigger difference at BYU.

I heard that it is BYU that has not reached out. He apparently wants BYU but they don't want him. HC issues maybe?

I would like to thank my family, friends and coaches who have made a difference in my life. I am committing to BYU!

It appears that Kieffer Longson committed to BYU today via his twitter page:

Kieffer Longson- OL from Doughtry Valley High School in San Ramon, CA. His top four schools are Utah, UCLA, Ohio State and BYU. Utah and UCLA are PAC-12 South contenders and Ohio State has Urban Meyer and is a National Championship contender. By all accounts, this would be a steal. I think Empey is more D1 ready today, but Longson has a future NFL lineman ceiling. He’s really talented.

6' 7" 300 lbs.

Scout ranks our class #46 with 15 recruits. We are ahead of Utah who has 19 recruits who is #49. It does not include Squally Canada.
