BYU-CAL tickets for $10

Post by jvquarterback »

Actually maybe as low as $8 if you don't care if the seats aren't together (and the stadium will be empty so there won't be a problem sitting together).

I usually wait and scalp tickets for games like this. I've been to the last two bowl games for <$10 a seat, but this was too good an option. Here's the deal.

Amazon local has a deal for a scorebig $35 coupon for $8. Scorebig is a bidding website for unsold tickets (think priceline for sporting events and musicals).

I started off bidding 17.50 per ticket for two for each category and got offered $32.50 for a 4* seat, $28 for a 3* seat and $23 for a 2* seat. I ended up having a bid of $31.50 for 2 of the 4* seats accepted (row 60 in section TT if you end up sitting next to me). That's $31.50x2 - $35 + $8 = $36 for a pair of seats that are normally $84 each with fees from CAL.

I don't know what the site would do if you used the coupon for a single ticket but I imagine you'd pay $8 for a pretty sweet ticket. If you go for the 2* seats with their offer you'd be paying <$10 a seat buying two at a time.

Hope this helps. As a disclaimer - it's been a long time since BYU won a game in Northern California. I hope that changes on the 29th.

I got two more of these for a friend. The best price I got was $18 all in per ticket. Seats are at the 25 yard line 58th row.
