Don't know who it was, but Ben Criddle had a local recruiting "expert" on his show this afternoon, and based on his connections and what he was hearing from families, he was predicting a huge surprise for BYU tomorrow morning--even a surprise for the coaches, and said it could lead to a domino effect resulting in a top-5 (he later ratcheted it down to a top-10) recruiting class for BYU tomorrow.



edit: it was Will Snowden, former BYU running back and a guy who apparently makes his living off of getting high school kids recruited by colleges, so he's putting something on the line by calling a shot like that.

So the expected flip of Sione Finau from Oregon State did happen. Several other big names are supposed to announce at 10:30am Mountain time.

Kacey Robbins is teasing something is coming up. So far 20 have committed and Sitake said on BYU SN that they are expecting more.

I know Britton Hogan and JT Gentry are on my list of expected commits who haven't been announced yet.

As a matter of process, do preferred/regular walk-ons not sign a LOI since scholarships are not involved?
