I would also not discount the idea of the Pac 12 looking long and hard at other contributors of quality content like BYU, Boise State, Utah State and Colorado State. Not only could members like these help to reinvigorate some natural rivalries, but their presence would increase the value of network through their TV markets (less important) and the volume of desirable content that they would contribute (more important). Academics are not a consideration here. The only thing that will matter is network value enhancement.

At least we are all being honest that it's about the money. Which makes BYU getting left out of the last realignment even more puzzling. Could have to do with that religion of theirs...

You took a team that was a smaller fanbase in their state with a much smaller overall TV audience in the last realignment and you wonder why your network isn't doing well. Hmmm...


I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,
