Where are you from?
Age 42. Born in Rose Park, UT. Raised from Kindergarten on in North Salt Lake. Graduated from Woods Cross High in '91. Served in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission from '92-'94. Met my wife at EFY Counselor Training Sessions. Married and after being hired to teach seminary moved to Ammon, ID where we have resided ever since.

What does your moniker mean?
Yeah, from Ammon, ID. Cougar Fan. Pretty creative huh?

Earliest Cougar memory?
I remember after BYU were National Champions telling my Uncle that I heard BYU was going to move to the NFL to play.

Why are you a fan?
Up until Jr. High I had followed my beloved Dallas Cowboys but had never watched or listened to a BYU game. By Jr. High it was obvious I had to choose between the Cougars and the utes and the ute fans I knew were such jerks that I chose the Cougars. My fandom has deepened and grown because I married into a ute family. I get along with all of them very well. We can all talk BYU/Utah on a cordial level (though my Father in Law still won't let us watch any BYU/Utah games with him) I do have one brother in law who is more of a BYU hater than a ute fan...shocking I'm sure.

How do you rate your level of fandom?
Growing but tempered. There was a time where I HATED all things Utah. Don't get me wrong. I still LOVE to know they have lost but I NEVER watch or follow them anymore. I wish that rivalry would die and never come back but that's a different thread probably. Despite living in Idaho I have been to at least two games a year for the past decade or more including road trips to Air Force, two Las Vegas Bowls, the bowl game in San Francisco and this year in Nebraska! Love my Cougars!!!

Go Cougs!!!

I'm 33
Nuk13-My nieces and nephews couldn't say my name so they called me Unka Nuk. 13 was my number as a Stevensville Yellowjacket.
Nuk, I spent the first 7 months of mission in Stevi. I was in the ward that covered the south side and Victor. Long enough to plant and harvest corn and pumpkins with the members only to be undersold by the Huterites and having to feed most of it to the pigs. It was with the Mcphersons on Willoughby road if you remember them. Good people. If my family lived in the Bitterroot im not sure I'd ever leave

Norman Maclean: The world is full of bastards, the number increasing rapidly the further one gets from Missoula, Montana.
(My wife has to watch a river runs through at least every 12-18 months. Pretty sure she threw it away though so it's time to get a new copy :P )

The Mcphersons were and still are very good friends of ours. Everyone in the ward was. Ken Mcpherson knew as much about potatoes as anyone in Idaho. Stevensville was just a branch in the Missoula district when we got there. The Boise Temple president, Leigh Brinkerhof is from there. We lived out in 3 mile by the Lone Rock School. Our little brother is in the cemetery there. I almost moved back there once but my brothers and sisters live south and I didn't want to be too far from them. Sometime we ought to make contact.

Where are you from?
Grew up in Tacoma, Washington

What does your moniker mean?
ProV1 is the golf ball I play

Earliest Cougar memory?
1980 McMahon to Brown. As soon as he caught it the phone rang and my dad was laughing and screaming with someone about the win. I remember driving around in the car at night trying to pick up KSL so we could listen to Paul James call basketball games. My dad had a gift for picking up the signal.

Why are you a fan?
Full tithe-paying member of the church with a testimony. Born of goodly parents who raised me right. Played baseball there and graduated. Full-blooded Cougar.

How do you rate your level of fandom?
Probs too high. Losses hurt. I'm getting better at putting things in perspective and not expecting perfection. I love independence where we play good schools in good places and have memorable victories with memorable players. I would trade all of our wins over Wyomings and UNLVs and "conference championships" for iconic wins like Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, etc. Much funner.

Where are you from?

Born and raised in Ammon, Idaho (yes, I'm one of the people of Ammon ;) ) ... Ammon is a "suburb" of Idaho Falls. Currently live in Clarkston, Washington (on the Idaho and Oregon border)

What does your moniker mean?

I used to be a radio talk show host, as a freelancer, I started the Mountain Radio Network.

Earliest Cougar memory?

My Dad was a sportscaster for Ricks College. We played BYU Jv teams. From as early as I can remember I cheered for BYU ... just cheered more for Ricks. BUT, I do remember as a 4 year old winning a pair of slacks from Mr. Macs from a guess the score competition with Paul James. Dad was watching Paul on KSL and was shocked to hear his 4 year old's name announced as the winner. I have clear memories of cheering for Giff Nielson ... what a great QB!

Why are you a fan?
Raised right. Mom went to BYU, my sister and older brother went to BYU. My other brother was recruited by Lavell but due to back injury could not play there ... 4 of his six sons either have or are playing there now. My daughter attends there now. I have bled blue since birth.

How do you rate your level of fandom?

You may not want your name on here so I'll say hello son of Mel. Your dad was a great man. Your mom was the best sub I ever had when I taught at Hillview with your sister who I still consider a best friend. I have taught 2 of your brothers kids as a sub in Iona. They are the best of kids. I call your other brother's show about every week and lament that he isn't on all week.
