TCU vs. OU
TCU makes a comeback, scores what should be the tying touchdown, and then Patterson makes a boneheaded call to go for two, they don't convert, game over. TCU deserves a spot in the bottom 5 for that one.
Had OU lost it pretty much would have been the nail in the coffin for the Big 12 and the CFP.

Maybe that's why the Big12 made Patterson throw that game?Ungoy wrote:TCU makes a comeback, scores what should be the tying touchdown, and then Patterson makes a boneheaded call to go for two, they don't convert, game over. TCU deserves a spot in the bottom 5 for that one.

Re: TCU vs. OU
The interesting thing about this is that TCU went for two after scoring a touchdown to bring it to 23-13 on their first possession of the second half. They failed. Had they kicked it (and made it, of course), it's 23-14, and then they are kicking an extra point to win 31-30. You can get yourself into trouble by looking at the math and counting possessions too early in the game.
If the yewts take the field and there are no BYU fans to pour beer on, will anybody come?
