Re: BSU Preview 2016
It's enough of an issue that the MWC prohibits Boise from wearing all blue at home for in-conference games.ABYUFAN wrote:FWIW I don't buy into any of that blue turf hurts our ability to make plays, any more than if Michigan State was "blending in" on their field. I've played on it, (All of the high schools in Boise did in the late 80's when I was there - I don't think that they still do but I'm not sure) and the field color does nothing to change the game at the field level. (from the stands it's a bit different)

I realize this is not in-conference ... isn't BSU wearing all blue tonight?

I think that looking down on the field from the ESPN camera does kind of blend in, but if I'm a player on the field, meh I dunno.

First of all, we all know that the MWC is always rational and reasonable - right?snoscythe wrote:It's enough of an issue that the MWC prohibits Boise from wearing all blue at home for in-conference games.ABYUFAN wrote:FWIW I don't buy into any of that blue turf hurts our ability to make plays, any more than if Michigan State was "blending in" on their field. Second, it was before, but my recollection was that when BSU rejoined (without ever leaving) the MWC, that condition was removed. At least that's how I remember it.
