Did he take Shipley's schollie?

As we noted during BYU's JR day, he was the top receiver and impressed all participants and coaches. Maybe Shipley got wind of this and backed out. Landing Davis is a major coup for BYU.

Scout has him as 2 starts but he was higher rated than Shipley.
