2015 - Mika Tafua - LB

Post by byucougar1 »

6-3, 208-pounds
Laie, Hawaii
Was impressed by meeting with Travis Uale (distant cousin) and Aaron Francisco. Apparently, BYU is using the Poly connection to solify commitments.

Hopefully, they use Unga to lure in LDS running back Sione Palelei from Louisiana and both Tafua and Tapusoa to bring in RB Aofaga Wily who is tripping to the Y this month.

Unfortunately Unga didn't work out too well with his basketball star cousin. But here's hoping for football.

He said he plans on taking all of his official visits. You're right this isn't a great development. He now has offers from Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, and Vanderbilt as well as a bunch of lower tier PAC schools.

Maybe he's just trying to rack up the frequent flyer miles so his parents can watch him play a few games on the mainland.
