2014- Zac Dawe. DL
Plays for Pleasant Grove High. 6' 4" 270. DLine prospect, but also looked at for ILB. He is also a wrestler in the 285 class and is undefeated this year as a junior. Getting wrestling offers as well right now.
Coach Pop is recruiting him, and Utah is also going hard after him right now. He s going o Junior Day coming up, and could be offered then.
His older brother just walked on and made the team as a long snapper prospect.

BYU taking serious look at Dawe on DL given his wrestling accolades (one of the top wresters in the nation - took 4th in nationals in Delaware) and ability to manhandle OL.

Mars is correct. Talo Steves reporting that he committed to Mendenhall on Tuesday. He will be a big run stopper that can handle the middle as he also won the Utah 5A state wresting championship.

Re: 2014- Zac Dawe. DL
I believe in wrestlers. In visiting my uncle in the hospital l was told a brother of 3 of my students (once a student always a student) was working in the icu. I stopped to see him. He was also a heavyweight and won a national Jr. college championship. You know how people put out auras? Well this kid was smiling and as friendly as you could want but he put out a powerful aura. He was about 6'4" like this Dawe kid and big of course, but it was more than that. If this Dawe kid is even close to Landon, I will not be surprised to see him all american. It's too bad the timing is off, imagine him playing with Ziggy and Van Noy. We are lucky he didn't go to Boise State or some other school that offers wrestling.

He will serve a mission first after graduating in 2014.
Interesting that his brother Parker (a walk-on OL to BYU) is similar in stature 6-4/270.
