Scout lists him at 6-4/265 lbs (he reports 6’3”, 240 pounds) - slight difference.

Loved this quote in the article, "I like the spiritual side of BYU and what they stand for because that’s more who I am. I really want to run out of the tunnel as a flag-bearer. That’s a dream of mine.”

Apparentley he visited the campus over Easter weekend. BYU coaches really like this top-50 nationally ranked defensive lineman recruit. He ranks BYU high on his recruiting list. He his anxious for BYU to extend an recruiting offer.

Talo Steves/TBS is reporting that he is about to receive an offer from BYU by the end of the month. Currently he holds offers from the following six schools: Utah, Wisconsin, Colorado, Colorado State, Washington State and U.C. Davis. Could be a hybrid OLB or DE.

He apparently received a BYU schollie offer on Friday night (Nov. 30, 2103). No word on whether he has accepted, but he has always wanted to play for BYU. Looks like he might be better suited at a LB position.

Committed to Stanford. Planning on a mission before playing.

Appears to be leaning towards BYU with his latest Instagram message that he posted: "Is it dumb to give up once in a life time opportunity of attending Stanford to attend a school you feel you are a better fit at?"

If he commits we will have the following defense:

LBs: Warner, Cook, Kafusi
DL: J. Gulley, Zac Dawe, Sione Takitaki, Earl Mariner, Tico Fuga
DBs: M. Shelton, K. Fonua
