Bengal Coug on Cougar Board made these observations about Kurtz...couldn't agree more. Imagine Apo, Matthews and Kurtz in the starting lineup.

Having watched his highlights a few things stood out.

#1. He is a very versatile receiver, he can line up inside and outside, not just a one spot WR. And he can run any route, you can send him short over the middle, send him long on the outside, this makes him even more dangerous since you can move him around and try and create mismatches.

#2. He's obviously a big WR, but he is also fast, and has good quickness, he's pretty shifty.

#3. They didn't show this much in his film, but he's also a physical and aggressive blocker based on the few clips of that they showed. He likes contact and is not one of those WR's who only puts in minimum blocking effort on run plays, he gets after it as a blocker.

#4. Obviously because of his size and athletic ability he is a big time threat in the red zone.

#5. Good field vision, and good with the ball in his hands.

#6. He has very good hands, and he catches the ball the right way. He doesn't let the ball get in to his chest, he extends his arms out in the proper technique to catch it.
