Post by scott715 »

Twitter says he was offered with offers from Oregon and Washington (home town). He is LDS I hear.

Higley OL Quinn Bailey offered by Brigham Young University, coach Eddy Zubey said.

With offers from four Pac12 schools (OR - warm interest - others not so much: AZ, ASU, WA) plus Northern Colorado, it appears BYU also is a consideration with LDS factor. Size/Weight varies but one report lists him at 6'6"/270 lbs. Seems to fit nicely into Anae's scheme of being tall, athletic, good feet.

Given Bronco's statement that 2014 does not have many schollies left after the return of the 20 RMs on scholarship, BYU must think highly of him. He is listed as 7th rated player on Scout's OL list.

Wondering why it took this long to offer him?? With the scholarship crunch could it mean Mama is no longer an option

Or one of those RMs isn't getting back early enough.

He's from Gilbert, AZ.

Read an article on TBS and it appears someone has decided to serve a mission opening up a spot for Bailey. I wonder who that might be?
