He moved over to LT when their 4* guy went down.

He tweeted his intention to sign with BYU on Monday evening after returning home from his official visit. He was one of four Texans who have committed to the Cougars: West, Brent, Jimenez are the other ones.

Interesting comparison of JJ with former BYU OT Tayo Fabaluje. Apparently he is very athletic, has good feet, strong hands and the nastiness of Tejan Karoma.

Other notable Texans that committed are 3-star athletes (preferred walk-one): Scott Huntsman TE/OLB and Koy Detmer Jr. QB.
