Yes. My enjoyment of the game (football or basketball) is usually independent of where I'm sitting.

Okay, then I'll shut up. I went to at least 98% of the basketball games (including exhibition, etc.) while I was a student, and sat anywhere from five rows from the bottom to the very top, and loved it all because nothing ever obstructed my view. Then on other occassions, I've had to sit about 15 rows up, right at the same level as the backboard, and I personally enjoyed it less.
