Both of these analysts have Davies going late second round. One to the Grizzlies, the other to the T-Wolves: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/draft/mock-draft/round/2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

NBA Draft Insider has him going to the Grizzlies: http://www.nbadraftinsider.com/2013-big ... ock-draft/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Davies didn't get drafted. Given such a weak draft class this year I suspected he'd go in the 2nd round. Instead, looks like he'll go the free agent route. Best of luck to him.

Only one WCC player was drafted. PAC got a bunch. MWC got a few. Can't help but think playing in a weak conference affected Davies' draft prospects.

I said all along (if you look at my posts) that Davies would not get drafted and that he has no future in the NBA. He is too dumb. A four year player who is still making junior high mistakes his senior year and who consistently commits dumb fouls in the first two minutes of every game, is not smart enough to play in the NBA. And the fact he cannot shoot makes him unserviceable in the NBA. He can't shoot beyond about 8 feet from the basket and he can't even make free throws. I can teach any player to be a pretty good free throw shooter in a 12 month period. Davies should have learned that as about a sophomore in high school--but he never did learn it.

He can probably make a living playing in Europe, but he has no future in the NBA

Will play with the Clippers in the Summer league and hope to parlay that into a D-League or FA contract.

Clippers could be a nice fit. Come off the bench. Provide some post scoring and rebounding for the 2nd unit.

Bump for old-times sake and to shout out to Davies who not only plays in the NBA, but started yesterday.

Hung 18 point on the Heat the other day. He's getting more minutes and scoring more than Jimmer is.

Go figure...

Quite simple. Davies has gotten regular minutes and opportunity and has taken full advatange of them.

Jimmer minutes very early in career then had a coaching change and the guy behind him was given those minutes and took full advantage of them.

Then everyone has bought the theme that Jimmer can't play lock-down defense on everyone in the NBA so therefore his shot making ability - which could help his teams - is secondary to the fact that Jimmer isn't an all-NBA defender.
