Prophecy: You Heard It Here First
I prophesy that Jabari Parker will go on a mission and then transfer to BYU when he gets home. He'll need a year to get back into shape for the NBA. He'll join a team that features the likes of Eric Mika, TJ Haws, Nick Emery, Payton Dastrup and this guy's son...

Did you watch JP play after his injury last year? Slow feet, glued to the ground and chubby=horrible shot and a mere mortal.
He ain't going on a mission. His body wouldn't recover. He's not that kind of guy.
Be a Steve Young, Jabari! You will have a greater influence on youth by actually "being a visible role model" unlike the dirtbag (albeit a funny circus show now) Sir Charles.

Jabari Parker will be in this years NBA draft and will go as a top 3 draft pick. We will never see him in a BYU uniform.

Sorry, CougsRule, I have to disagree. Having worked in the YM program for over 20 years now, I have seen too many local kids decide not to serve missions because they wanted to be the next Steve Young. Think of the message Jabari would send if he chose to serve a mission instead of going pro. Think of the experiences of the Spirit he could have as he works and prays one on one with investigators to bring them the light of the Gospel.
