Parker has bad workout with Cavs

However, Parker's workout on Friday in Cleveland was a disappointment according to multiple sources. Parker weighed in at 254 pounds with 11 percent body fat, well over his playing weight at Duke. Sources say the workout was so bad that he appeared disinterested at times. One sources even went as far as to say that it appeared as though Parker was even "tanking" the workout.
I wish Parker the best and I know since he's Mormon I'm not suppose to say this, but I think Wiggins has the higher ceiling and should go #1. Seems out of character for him to show up out of shape and to perform so bad that they thought he was tanking. Maybe he does not want to go to Cleveland? Maybe he can keep tanking his workouts for the top 4 so the Jazz will pick him (I'm not a Jazz fan BTW)??

One of the ESPN mocks has him going #2 to the Bucks and then getting traded to the Jazz.

I bet he tanked. It's millions of dollars' difference, but there's also a quality of life component to this whole draft thing.

So was the Cavs workout an intentional tank? I bet he was excited to be close to home with the bucks and less enamored with living in Cleveland.

Pay difference between #1 pick and #2 pick is $1,515,000 in pre-tax dollars, or $915,000 in after tax dollars.

State tax rates:
Ohio: 3.42%
Wisconsin: 6.35%

So the #1 pick is paying $51,813 in state taxes, while the #2 pick, despite making $600,000 LESS is actually paying MORE in state taxes at $58,102.50!

If Jabari decided to tank to not go to Cleveland, he made a bad business decision.

Actually, I think when you consider sponsorships and ad-revenue, I think he made a smarter decision. In Cleveland, he's WAAAY behind Kyrie Irving on the list of local celebs that companies want to pay for sponsorships, not to mention Indians players and Browns players (don't they have some new QB in town?).

In Milwaukee, he only has to compete with the other Bucks and the Brewers (whose #1 celebrity player is a tainted Ryan Braun). With the Bucks, he's probably the #1 guy in the market for sponsorship dollars. In Cleveland, he's probably not even in the top 5. I think he makes up the salary/tax cut with additional sponsorship deals.
