So Luke Worthington is listed at 6'10"... but in those pictures... it's clear that Andrus has a legit 2-3 inches on Luke (could be shoes) but some has Andrus listed as 6'8" coming out of high school so it would appear that he's also a legit 6'10" at least... encouraging

Encouraging but I am still worried we just don't have enough guys who can really play.

Speaking of height and talent this year, I ran into Nate Austin at the Texas game this past weekend and asked him about Corbin Kaufusi. He says he's against him a lot this summer and he is a tough and athletic kid, but raw. Coming from Nate, he must be really raw. Either way, I'm excited to see him play.

Btw, Nate Austin must have grown, he's listed on this year's roster at 7'0". Standing next to him, he sure looked that tall, in fact taller than I remembered him when I saw him last year.

Raw usually means not that good.

From what I heard, he's athletic and good presence in the paint with some decent low post moves but outside of that he has some learning. Give him a year and he'll be there.

Yep, that's why I mentioned it. Coming from another player who has perennial rawness, I found it very telling. He does have size, however, weighing 20# more than the next heaviest big man and 30# heavier than Austin.

"not that good" usually means "not good" (which usually means"bad")

Raw=bad (but is much more nice to say)

Ziggy Ansah was raw when he started playing football... physical talent was there though...

So sometime at the end of two seasons from now we should start expecting Kaufusi to be a spot contributor and then three seasons from now we'll be able to see him as a regular contributor?

Except he's starting with an understanding of the game and actual playing experience which should put him further ahead than where ZIGGY started. Also, BBall is an easier game to understand and develop skills for than is football.
