Nick Emery
Jackson Emery tweeting that Nick has undergone 2 surgeries, the 2nd one was "successful" and he has normal feeling/circulation in his arms finally. Good new for their whole family and cougar fans everywhere. Good luck Nick!

Re: Nick Emery
To clarify, I think he had two different surgeries, not a repeat of an initial unsuccessful surgery. I believe he was getting both sides operated on. Either way, great news for him.

Re: Nick Emery
So, I'm happy the surgery was successful, I guess I have to ask, does he recuperate and return to the mission field. If he does go back does his mission clock pick up where he left off? I think he could do a lot of recuperation while serving. Most important is for him to get physically healthy.
I hope the best for him.

Re: Nick Emery
From what I understand Nick was honorably released from his mission for medical reasons, so his mission is over.KYCoug wrote:So, I'm happy the surgery was successful, I guess I have to ask, does he recuperate and return to the mission field. Re: Nick Emery
Correct, and if I remember correctly there was a Tweet from him a few weeks ago saying he was looking forward to watching the team and playing next year.hawkwing wrote:From what I understand Nick was honorably released from his mission for medical reasons, so his mission is over.KYCoug wrote:So, I'm happy the surgery was successful, I guess I have to ask, does he recuperate and return to the mission field. Re: Nick Emery
I suspected this might be the case. My son was given a medical release and honorable release paperwork and was told he could return as soon as the medical issue was resolved or he could stay and not return. My son chose to stay but could have gone backnuk13 wrote:According to the tweets to the left Elder Emery is heading back to Germany. Good for him!
Good Luck Elder Emery. Serve well and get all healed up.

Very interesting! I don't think they gave you the option 10 years or more ago, but it's nice to see they are now.KYCoug wrote:I suspected this might be the case.
