On Jan. 5, BYU guard Nick Emery returned home early from his LDS Church mission in German to receive medical treatment.

Based off a video Emery posted on his Facebook page, he’s starting to work back into basketball shape.

The video shows Emery training at the Marriott Center, and it looks as if he still has the shooting stroke that helped him be named Mr. Basketball in 2013 by the Deseret News and lead Lone Peak to three straight 5A state titles from 2011-2013.

In a statement released by the family in December, Emery is expected to be 100 percent by the start of next basketball season.
