Back in the saddle?

Post by mendyman »

We are getting some chatter again. Obviously beating Portland and a good tournament are required but I don't think losses to the Zags will hurt too much. Not going to matter anyway after next Saturday when we put the Wags in their place (cough).

Even if we lose to a tope 5 team, our numbers might go up.

There's still hope. Right down to the last game.

Hopes are still alive. When we play the Zags, I am hoping BYU does a repeat performance of the caliber that showed up in Provo against the Gaels. What exactly is a Gael anyway?

Gael or Goídeleg was first used as a collective term to describe people from Ireland; it is thought to have come from Welsh Gwyddel (Old Welsh Goídel), originally "raider", now "Irish person". Many people who do not speak Gaelic consider themselves to be 'Gaels' in a broader sense because of their ancestry and heritage.

So, essentially, they're the Fighting Irish?

I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
