someone just got screwed....
forget the math, forget what's right... this is good ole tournament selection sunday rule snobbery once again.
ok beat Ole Miss...
could be worse... CSU would beat UCLA 8 of out 10 times on a neutral court and they're in the NIT

This extra game could do us in by Saturday. Once our legs get tired the shots stop falling and we really have no inside game to help out.

Which is why we just need to blow Ole Miss out and let the bench play.beauso79 wrote:This extra game could do us in by Saturday. Once our legs get tired the shots stop falling and we really have no inside game to help out.

every other day games should not be an issue with recovery.Qman wrote:Which is why we just need to blow Ole Miss out and let the bench play.beauso79 wrote:This extra game could do us in by Saturday. Once our legs get tired the shots stop falling and we really have no inside game to help out.

The first round advantage Xavier has is prep time and getting to watch BYU/Ole Miss play.

The ESPN guy said as much during their bracketology special. He said he's not surprised at BYU's position as it was decided years ago that if BYU wanted to play in the NCAA with "all their scheduling requirements" they would have to play-in. Seems like an excessive punishment for scheduling someone in one half the bracket vs the other.craigoscarson wrote:someone just got screwed....

Of course they then went on to pick BYU to win the first two rounds.

Here's one advantage then to being in the WCC and completing our tournament the week before and being allowed to rest a week and watch all others.BYULV wrote:The ESPN guy said as much during their bracketology special.
