Re: '14 Midterm Elections Today
I do wonder if there could be a tipping point where the Democrats quit on Obama as well. I honestly don't think he likes being president. He likes the perks of being famous, but not the actual job. I'm not convinced he wants to finish his term and he may not.[/quote]
That would be the best news of the last decade with the possible exception of Hilary taking herself out of the race.

I hope Trey Gowdy takes Hillary out of the race well before 2016.

Republicans quit on Bush, and got hammered despite it in 2008. That would be the best of both worlds--Dems quit on Obama and move to the right the next two years, but still get tromped in 2016.

Sno. I think you are correct--that would be the best of both worlds, and the best scenario we could hope for.snoscythe wrote:Republicans quit on Bush, and got hammered despite it in 2008. The next best thing if he doesnt go away which I doubt would be for Obama to golf 12 hours a day 7 days a week for the next two years

It's possible Screamingeagle. Since 2009, Obama is close to playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. That's a stunning factoid.
