Bottom Five and Other Miscellany--MockingCorn Edition

Post by BoiseBYU »

Lest there be concern, the regular season is over and the NE corn stalks are THE winners, but championship weekend does solidify this season's picks. let's start with the bottom up.

1. What does Ohio State's shut-out annihilation of Wisconsin tell us? That NE! is really really bad. The Bladders ran all over the Corn Stalks only to get SHUT DOWN by OSU. So while regular season picks are all locked up, it is nice to see confirmation and 59-0 does just that.

2 -5. Big 12! Big 12 people need to take the remedial math class every Ute FB player takes--Numbers and How They Can Change! Then they would know that if you have ten teams, calling yourself the Big 12 does not mean you now have 12 teams. You still have 10 teams. Big 10 could probably use a refresher course too since they have 12 teams. Bottom line is that Big 12 (but really 10) probably botched having either Baylor or TCU in the playoff series....

6. Oakland Faders messed up the pro bottom ratings beating the 49ers for their first win of the year. Yes. The 49ers. The guys who have won three straight National Championships. Team to change name to 76ers.

7. Speaking of the 76ers, they won. Again. They are now 2-18. The whole world is going topsy turvey.

Finally, in an effort to expand our horizons, the Bottom Five notes that in the National Finals Rodeo, Turtle Powell and Dakota Kirchenschlager were last at 9.2 seconds (the winner came in at 3.9 seconds) in the team roping. No real surprise though, given that one of the two is in fact a turtle. And no real harm caused--the announces would need about nine seconds to pronounce the two's names in any event. Well...best of luck next time to our intrepid pair!
