Got my ticket.

I'm just a regular, everyday normal guy,
I can't afford a car, I use public transportation,
I don't mind, I read till I reach my destination,
sometimes a newspaper, sometimes a book,
the money I save, this stuff is off the hook,

Went to buy seats today but there's no more room in the main part of the theater. I guess I'll catch it with you guys next time!.

OK So I went and saw the movie. It was very entertaining and a fun watch. And comforting--I mean once again we have a young orphan abandoned on a desert planet who appears to have the force and is being sought after by Darth Vader II. And we still have the Millenium Falcon which is now some 100 years old but can still outmaneuver the most advanced Tie Fighters science can produce. And we still have Evil Empire tacticians who think the smartest thing to do is build ever bigger Death Stars even though with DS I and DS II, ragtag rebellion forces are able to detect one singular weakness in the Death Star that will blow the whole sucker up. Truly history repeats itself! And the Evil Empire tacticians still do not understand the import of adequately defending the shields---Death Star III had, what? about five guys? Whoever decided that that force was adequate to defend the Shield Shack (as well as the guys tasked with training the storm troopers to shoot straighter (these guys could not hit the broadside of an Imperial Destroyer)) needs to be summarily executed for treasonous dereliction of duty, except (spoiler alert!), it looks like they once again got blown to smithereens as a result of their incompetence. But still...A good watch! May the Force Awaken in and Be With You this New Year!

Great time last night. Although it got a little awkward when Schmoe started to audibly sob. That would have been bad enough, but then Ungoy had to cradle him in his arms stroking his hair, saying "It's ok. The Force lives in all of us."

Also worth mentioning was when Spiff fainted from excitement when they first showed the Millennium Falcon. Schmoe capitalizing on the moment proceeded to eat all Spiff's snacks, and blamed it on the Ewok sitting behind him.

I wish this wouldn't have been on my anniversary. We'll have to do another :) I've seen it twice, and it just gets better each time (unlike the prequels... ugh). I considered asking for the night off, but I don't really want to enter the dating market again, LoL.
