Cougar Corner Relay Race?
Anyone interested in running a team relay race later this year or even next year?
There is a Red Rock Relay up in Park City/Midway in October. It's a 65 mile loop from Midway, around Jordanelle reservoir, through Park City and then up and over the mountain back to Midway. It's a six-person team that runs 12 legs. It costs $409 for a team ($68 per runner). Information on this race can be found here:

I've done the Red Rock Relays in Moab and Zion's and they were a lot of fun. The Moab one is in May. It costs $499 ($83 per runner) if we wanted to do the one next month, but we could look at doing it next year.
The Zion's relay is in September, but it's a 12-man relay. It starts up in Brian's Head, goes down through Cedar City, around to Enterprise, though St. George and up to Zion's front entrance. That one costs about $1200 ($100 per runner).

In the past, they've offered all three for about $1500, which might be something to plan ahead for 2017?
Some other ones to consider might be the Tri-States Relay. From Veyo, Ut (NW of St. George) to Mesquite, NV. It's a shorter one, just 50 miles and only costs $115 for a five-man team. This one is in early December.

There is also a race around Utah Lake in September. 12-man teams. $400 http://utahlakerelayrace.com/Index.html
Of course, there are also multiple Ragnar Relays we could consider as well.

So, any interest?

I'll be your anchorman, yes I damn well will.*
*Walking Dead reference, and not a true interest in running.
