Jimmer Fredette had another impressive offensive night as the Shanghai Sharks improved to 3-0 on the season with an 86-79 win over the Jiangsu Dragons in Jiangsu on Friday night.
Fredette led all scorers for the third straight game, finishing with 35 points on 15 for 28 shooting from the floor, including 3 for 9 from beyond the arc and 2 for 2 from the foul line. He added four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 40:40 of action.
On the season, Fredette is averaging 40.3 points on 55.1 percent shooting from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line. He is also averaging 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals

It's too bad the NBA didn't see this type of Jimmer early on in Sacramento. Jimmer Fredette had a tough shooting night in the loss as he finished with 36 points while connecting on 13 of 32 shots from the floor. He did have a solid performance shooting from the outside where he hit 5 of 12 shots from 3-point land and from the free-throw line where he was 5 for 5.
Fredette also contributed in other ways for the Sharks who are now 6-1 on the season. He led the team with a career-high 16 rebounds while adding seven assists and four steals.
On the season, Fredette is averaging 39.6 points on 50.5 shooting from the floor, including 45.2 percent from beyond the arc. He is also chipping in with 7.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.0 steals.

Fredette set a new career-high with 73 points on 25 for 49 shooting from the floor, including 10 for 18 from 3-point range and a perfect 13 for 13 from the foul line. He also added four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 54:05 in the double overtime thriller.
And of note, him and his wife are expecting their first kid very soon:On the season, Fredette finished second in the league in scoring as he averaged 37.3 points a game on 48.1 percent shooting from the floor, including 41.1 percent from beyond the arc and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line. He also contributed 7.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 39.3 minutes.
While the first round of the playoffs won't start until the Friday, Fredette is expected to miss the first game as he is returning home for the birth of his first child
