Elf has become a must-see.

Other must-sees:

It's a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street (the old and the newest are both good, you can forget the one made in the 70's)
Ernest Saves Christmas (Yeah, it was definitely the best "Ernest" movie).

My wife likes to just turn on the Hallmark Channel and pretty much watch it all the time. they're running lots of Christmas Movies, and some of them are actually pretty good. The only problem is they tend to overdo the "magical" expectations for Christmas, and reality can almost seem like a let-down.
