Mr. Johnny Ragin will be on campus in early August to make a decision for accepting a schollie.

Other than a jc corner Ragin is the most important recruit left to get. Hes as fast as van noy but is a bit bigger.

Scout has him as just 2 stars with only 2 offers, us and Portland St. I know is it accurate or not?

He was at Friday camp sporting a BYU golf polo shirt and seemed to really enjoy the practice. He will be a good get - he is trying to get comfortable with the culture and atmosphere of the campus. Interacting with the team helped out.

Talo Steves noted that Johnny Ragin, and his mother Ruth toured the campus together, really enjoyed their two-day visit to BYU last week and are very comfortable with the program and campus. He will be a very good get. Hopefully, bring back his friend Tanner Shipley/WR who previously decommitted.

Appears that he still is in weekly contact with Coach Poppinga.Hope he chooses Y as he is very similar in build and style of play as KVN.

KVN is 6'3 235. Ragin is smaller, but not much. Key is whether he can motor. BYU has a great D for quick ILBs to play in. Hadley and KVN get to have a lot of fun out there.
