I don't see anything about him on the AAU circuit, 2015 makes him an incoming sophomore so he's got room to grow and get better, but we knew about Haws, Emery, Dastrup, and Nixon before they were sophomores and I know nothing about Marks kid, except that he has a very good name.

"Durrant" is right up there with the legendary 80s names of "Ainge" "Chatman" "Smith" "Haws" "Toolson"

With the quality of recruits we have coming in, the amazing BYU hoops fans, the majesty of the MC, and our great coaches, it takes more than a name to get a scholarship.

Nixon = state 4a MVP and AAU stud this summer
TJ Haws = going to be a 4 star recruit after this year where Lone Peak HS is going to get big time national exposure
Nick Emery = top 25 best player in his class. If he were african-american, he'd be rated top 10
Jordan Chatman = best player in his state and state playoffs MVP
Tyler Haws = 3 time state MVP (should have been a McDonalds AA)

Jeff Chatman has another boy younger than Jordan and a daughter that will be playing at the Y

It says a lot about how great BYU is that all these kids follow their parents footsteps.

I love how early Nixon committed because it says the same message that was sent when Emery and Haws committed; BYU is the place to be and they own Utah college hoops.

That George Durrant is the father of the other Durrants (Devin, Mark).

Is the subject of the original post, George Durrant , related to Matt, Devin & Mark?
